The room was okay, but we had a major issue with the heat. No AC and it got super hot at night. The fans helped a bit but it was really tough sleeping. Also, the noise from the street was annoying, especially with the window open for air. On the upside, the room looked like the pictures and had good storage space. Just wish it was comfier!

The location of Hostal The Monkey Room is fantastic, right in the heart of Old Town Marbella. I loved how easy it was to explore the charming cobbled streets with shops and tapas bars just a short walk away. The staff greeted me warmly and offered helpful local tips. My room had a cozy atmosphere, just like the pictures showed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The rooftop terrace was a delightful spot for relaxing after a day out, with beautiful views and a nice ambiance. However, the bed could use a bit more comfort, and it would be nice to have some more seating options around the hostel. I also noticed some noise from the streets at night, but it didn’t ruin my stay since I used earplugs. Overall, I had a pleasant time here, and I appreciated the friendly and welcoming service.

It was just a good match for a mini-vacation in Marbella with fantastic value for money. The room was incredibly hot, and despite that, we managed to enjoy our time outside. Bring your own fans if you can’t handle heat. two fans aren't enough for a room in summer.

The location was spot on for checking out the beach and exploring the bustling old town. We could easily rent bikes through the hostel. The staff was super friendly, and we even enjoyed a local bar just a few steps away.
The only downside was our room got a bit noisy at night. The walls are thin, so we could hear voices from outside. It made it hard to get a good night's rest after long days of exploring.
